In a small coastal town, where the ocean mist hung heavy and the wooden docks groaned with each tide, there stood a lighthouse long abandoned. Its walls, once bright and whitewashed, had faded to a palette of soft beiges and muted grays, peeling at the edges where salt and time had done their work.
